OUR STORY
An Angel born and lived the youth in Libya, a country that remained engraved in his heart for the rest of his life.
After moving to Europe, despite his many professional and family commitments, he managed to find time to travel to this "distant" country, with which he remained in constant contact and which he always tried to help in a concrete way, even though each time he returned he could see in his eyes the sadness that came from the perception of a seemingly irreparable economic degradation.
Never losing heart, he continued to contribute financially to the construction of a school in Walia.
When he spoke of his "foyers", the orphaned children who welcomed him with joy, he conveyed the strong emotion he felt each time, the feeling that he was receiving as a gift the joy of life of very poor people who knew how to appreciate the little things that have lost their value and dimension in our world.
His dream was to be able to devote himself to his fellow Guineans once he retired.
Fate did not allow him to carry out this project, but wanted to create an association to fulfil his wish and to unite as many people as possible around his memory.
After numerous searches, we found the contacts who had received the funding and
we had a meeting with the volunteers who live there, they have recently finished building the orphanage, which will house around a hundred children.
They gave us all the support they could, and above all they gave us the land on which to build the children's hospital (saving us around 50,000 euros).
The hospital will have one wing for doctors, nurses and volunteers and another for the sick. The two departments will be managed separately, so that the different habits of each person can be maintained and more easily managed.
The children from the orphanage will be treated directly in the hospital.

Children who need specialist care will be taken by ambulance to the hospital in the capital, Conakry, a day's journey away.
The association will fight to ensure that children's health is a right and not a privilege of the few.

As every penny is important to achieve our goals, the association will raise the necessary funds directly on the ground.
